Information We Collect

Supplement Tracker is built to be private by default. Everything you enter in the app (your supplements, schedules, intake logs, journal entries, and settings) is stored locally on your device, not on our servers. The only data that ever leaves your device is: (1) anonymous, optional usage analytics and crash diagnostics that you can turn on or off; (2) purchase and subscription data when you buy a subscription; and (3) a backup copy of your data, only if you choose to enable cloud backup to your own Google Drive. You never create an account, and we never collect your name or email address to identify you.

Data Storage

Your supplement data, intake history, journal, and settings are stored on your device by default, so you keep full control of your data. This data is only copied off your device if you choose to turn on cloud backup, in which case it is saved to your own private Google Drive folder. We do not keep a copy of your supplement or health data on our own servers.

Health Data

If you grant permission, the app can read from and write to Apple Health (HealthKit) on iOS and Health Connect on Android, for example to read your sleep, heart rate, activity, mood, and dietary nutrients, and to save the vitamins, minerals, and mood you log. This health data stays on your device and within Apple Health or Health Connect. It is never uploaded to our servers and is never sent to any analytics or advertising provider. You can revoke this access at any time in your device's health settings.

Cloud Backup

Cloud backup is optional and stays off unless you turn it on. When enabled, a copy of your supplement and intake data is stored in your own Google Drive, inside a private app-data folder that only this app can access; we cannot see your other Drive files. Your Google account email is shown on your device to indicate which account is connected, and only a non-reversible, hashed form of that email is included in a diagnostic event so we can troubleshoot sync problems. You can disconnect at any time in the app and delete the backup from your Google Drive.

Analytics & Third-Party Services

With your permission, the app uses PostHog to collect anonymous, aggregated usage analytics (such as which screens and features you use) and anonymous crash and error diagnostics, so we can fix bugs and improve the app. Analytics is off by default: we ask you once, and you can turn it on or off at any time in the app's Privacy settings. This data is linked only to a random, anonymous identifier, never to your name, email, or an account. We do not use advertising services, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your data or share it with data brokers. PostHog, Inc. processes this data on our behalf as our data processor, on servers in the United States. For in-app purchases and subscriptions, payment processing is handled by the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store, and RevenueCat, our payment infrastructure provider.

Data Security

We take data security seriously. Your supplement and health data stays on your device unless you choose to enable cloud backup, and any data transmitted off your device (analytics, diagnostics, purchases, and cloud backup) is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. Your on-device data is protected by your device's built-in security features.

Purchase & Subscription Data

When you make a purchase or start a free trial, transaction data is processed by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. This includes your subscription status, purchase date, and anonymous transaction identifiers. No personal or health data is ever shared with these services. Under GDPR, RevenueCat acts as a data processor on our behalf under a written data processing agreement; the legal basis for this processing is performance of a contract. Data may be processed in the United States under GDPR-compliant Standard Contractual Clauses. You can manage your subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account settings. For details, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data. You can turn usage analytics on or off at any time in the app's Privacy settings, and you can delete all your data at any time by using the reset feature in the app settings or by uninstalling the app. If you enabled cloud backup, you can also delete the backup from your Google Drive. To request deletion of any data associated with you, contact us at contacts@trifoiltrailblazer.com.
